Somebody naughty has been munching on your flowers. Here it's the adult corn rootworm beetle who devours the petals of roses, zinias etc. Everything but the smelly marigolds. :)

I studied the picture hard but can't decide: are they holes or raindrops on the petals?
Just as troutbirder said, it is and adult corn rootworm beetle that eats on my zinnias. I like that, as I hear commercials on tv all the time what farm chemical that will kill it.
