Another face of Christmas......
The Nutcracker Suite is a tradition in our country and I am sure that it is in many countries around the world. I can always count on seeing some version of it done on the Public Broadcasting Station. We were unloading a spare box of ornaments last night and I found a couple more nutcracker decorations.

Peony and Tulips....
The flowers are getting a gentle rain this morning. It makes the soil and sub soil happier as our drought is less these days.

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...

Very nice photo, Larry. My dad traveled to Germany for work one Christmas, and mom and I got to go along. We saw so many lovely nutcrackers and music boxes in the shops there.
