This is fall in its finest with the leaves on the ground and the burning bush in its final show. The brick of the fire ring and the neighbor's pool can be viewed along with this typical fall scene.

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...

Very pretty shot. Looks like one of those photos in the old Ideals magazines that mama used to get for the holidays.
Some read flowers are hard to get the camera to capture the details. I have to turn the brightness down and the contrast up until I can see the shadow lines etc.
But you seem to have got this one just right. The bench is rustic. I used to do illustrations for Ideals Magazines and did for years before I had a computer or a digital camera.
It's a fabulous picture, I would love to see it on a greetings card or maybe a calendar.
Love that burning bush. I have six which line the road in front of our house. This year they were "glowing" in the evening light...:)
This is a lovely scene. I love the sound of leaves crunching under my feet!
