Stark and Cold.......
My riverbirch displays the starkness that comes with cold. I notice the outside temperatures were dropping more during breakfast. The lowest temp we had before I went to school we a -1 degrees F. (-18 C) I think it should warm up from there to 20 degrees F. (-6 degrees C.). The faint green of the grass in the background should be history quite soon.

I love the tree bark, but not the bitter cold. Take care.
I think the bark is amazing
I do not like cold weather either.

Have a nice week-end, Larry.

There are lovely textures and colours in that bark. Great pic.
