Nestled...............
The area that they were planted seemed to be a good spot. Then the hollyhocks grew up with a lot of foliage and shaded them from view. They are now in view as the hollyhocks have faded from the cold. I suspect after two nights of freezing temperatures and the marigolds will be gone also. The one bug on the far left flower might just be gone too.

Tall and Short....
At four in the morning and one is walking the empty hallways, one never knows what the camera might shoot.

Teddy's legs are a little short for this big wheel but he still likes sitting on it. These shots were buried in my files and this one...

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...

Such bright, cheerful blooms.
Those flowers really pop out and catches your eye.
I didn't see the insect at first.... I never seem to be able to capture them on camera. The flowers were lovely to look at on this dark and wet morning.
