Have a view of my daily photos or photos from my past. We all need to document the world around us visually. What I see is mostly what you get.

In the Middle of the Greens........
As the rains and winds keep coming I discovered this iris laying among all of the vegetation. This particular variety does not withstand much weather other than dry sunshiny days. I have planted this kind in a lot of areas and the stems just give out and collapse.
This old fashioned variety stands strong and firm, putting out these orchid like blooms. I moved some of this iris to a new location last summer and this plant didn't hesitate to bloom right away this spring.

Tall and Short....
At four in the morning and one is walking the empty hallways, one never knows what the camera might shoot.

Teddy's legs are a little short for this big wheel but he still likes sitting on it. These shots were buried in my files and this one...

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...

Just love this pretty iris...this is actually two different flowers, right? The first has such a beautiful golden throat!
We don't have irises now so I really enjoy you sharing yours.
