Have a view of my daily photos or photos from my past. We all need to document the world around us visually. What I see is mostly what you get.

Reflection Pools........
We have lost track on the amount of rain that we have received. It just keeps falling from the sky. If it isn't raining, it sprinkles. I see on national weather today that it is still coming from the gulf. The weather guy can say Missouri but he didn't notice that Iowa sits above it and the green spread of color was on Iowa too. Before summer is over all this free growing green stuff will be cut down. Usually I can get out to the rough areas and fight back the unwanted vegetation but mosquitoes and rain seem to win out on any outside work. I need to tip the milk cans over as the mosquitoes love standing water especially the ones in reflective pools.

Peony and Tulips....
The flowers are getting a gentle rain this morning. It makes the soil and sub soil happier as our drought is less these days.

Teddy's legs are a little short for this big wheel but he still likes sitting on it. These shots were buried in my files and this one...

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...

Everything looks green and lush! We had more rain today, too!
Makes for a great shot but I know the mosquitoes are a huge nuisance.
I forgot to wish your goldfish well on your other blog earlier. We get so frustrated with employees at some stores. Amazing that they have no training at all at some businesses!
How awful for you... I would hate to see that much rain. Even the plants must get fed-up with it.
Mosquitoes breed on freshwater seems dangerous... hope u keep away the water stored cans
