Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...

One of my college girlfriends' nick name was Big Bird (Sesame Street) and she had a daylily that looked like this named the same! Maybe that is what this is??

I would never think of putting yellow with orange - yet the lilies can get away with it.
