Have a view of my daily photos or photos from my past. We all need to document the world around us visually. What I see is mostly what you get.

Faded Beauty.....
As the seasons are transitioning the most showy flowers are now fading. Some coneflowers just dry up and turn black but this one is fading slowly.
In the very same area as the above faded bloom is this new bloom. It hasn't been open for very long as it is a late bloomer. It is a small one that has stronger color than the camera pick up of it.

Teddy's legs are a little short for this big wheel but he still likes sitting on it. These shots were buried in my files and this one...

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...

I have enjoyed your coneflowers this year. We have a young lady friend who will start college next year who is interested in photography. She and her mom are coming for tea soon and John and I are going to share your wonderful blog pics with her. She and her mom have recently visited King Univ. in Bristol TN, which has an excellent photography program.
I love cone flowers....yours are just beautiful, even if they are fading!
These flowers make sense that nothing last longer and beauty isn’t an exception. But still flowers are beautiful with their fade.
Like life....as one fades another comes into its new beauty!
