Grandma's Platter......
The platter of my Grandmother Brooks is on the wall, so we are officially moved. I don't know at what point my mother was given the ducks plate, but I saw it on our wall for most of my childhood. The piece made a move from the farm to my parents city house and then to a second home. I had it at the old house for ten years or more and now it is in our newer home, hung with honor among the golden oldies things.

What a treasure! I would never use it, just display it.
It's things like that, our treasured heirlooms and other items that hold special memories for us, that make a house a home.
It looks so nice displayed with other treasures.
It makes for a very special and unique collection. God bless your new week.
