Fall Flowers........


The flower gardens really are our own test gardens. I can see which petunia that will hang on to the very end while others were just too fragile to survive the fall weather. This variety of cockscomb is far superior to the old fashion, fan-shaped variety. The aster s seems to be a good bloomer but they are not consistent in colors at the very same time. I haven't had asters before but I can see they are very different than mums.

The asters are so sweet. This is the kind of cockscomb that we have around here. There are lots this time of year.
