Oldie....Plus


 I just vaguely remember when they sold painted pots.  I think this was among my mom's collection of rejects and I grabbed it. I find it to be an interesting time in history when they thought it would be a good product to sell.  I know this pot has to be at lease 65 years old.  I am going to plant a cactus in it and put it in my window. Yes, I should just throw it away, but history is my fascination. 


An added photo....I did get it planted after I first posted the photo above. I found two more painted pots, rustic I know, that are now also planted.

Amazing how sturdy they must be last this long, and we need to accept things made in the olden days are strong enough to challenge the contemporary. These can be repainted or used as it is to enhance the windowsill.
