The young goldfinch is shedding his gray baby feathers to become a male goldfinch, like the one opposite him on the feeder sock.

Cardinal.....
A cardinal is busy singing up a lot to declare his territory and also watching for his mate. The sound is wonderful that they make.

These yellow Finches are a bonus to have them come to ones feeders. The yellow is magnificent.
