The young goldfinch is shedding his gray baby feathers to become a male goldfinch, like the one opposite him on the feeder sock.

The redbud tree is waiting for some warm weather before the flowers bloom. It is just too cold for things to develop.

These yellow Finches are a bonus to have them come to ones feeders. The yellow is magnificent.
