The two steadfast geese help to show how much it has snowed. Five inches buries the head of the female Canada goose and it builds up on their backs too. A sunny day makes great shadows on the back yard’s blanket of snow.

What a remarkable shot of the geese: I would expect them to shake the snow off, but perhaps it fell too fast?
