A pair of ducks showed up at our neighbors pool. They had a good swim and then perched on the ledge preening their feathers. Later they flew low over my head while I was working in the yard.

We did not get the rain that they predicted. The clouds slid by us to the west leaving high and dry again.

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...
