Purple Alum....
This is my older alum patch. As a photographer it was a challenge yesterday as there was a lot of gusts of wind. I kept watching them swinging to and fro and not in sequence. I will be clearing this whole flower bed and starting over after the alum are through blooming. I will try to replant the alum similarly to keep them growing in another location.

Tall and Short....
At four in the morning and one is walking the empty hallways, one never knows what the camera might shoot.

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...

These are gorgeous - so lovely to see a whole patch of them. Glad you're relocating them and not throwing them out. Do show us what goes in their place.
Pretty color. They look like chive flowers.
