I think this is one of my most favorites and I can always get a good composition from this plant.

Peony and Tulips....
The flowers are getting a gentle rain this morning. It makes the soil and sub soil happier as our drought is less these days.

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...

I love the veins ..it is a very pretty plant, it must show up so well because the lighter center veins really show the petals off! :)
