Monday.......
This is a new peony in my garden that actually is an old one transplanted one from my wife's home place. We believe it probably was first planted by my wife's grandmother. I moved them to our property three years ago and some of them are now blooming for me for the first time.
This is another view of the same flower. It isn't as red as the one that I have from my grandmother Brooks but it is a new color for our garden.

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...
