Blustery Friday........
Cold, foggy day, late afternoon and there were a few glories out there. I put on a coat and caught a glimpse of this beaten bloom. I don't know if something got to it after it bloomed or is it was beat up as a bud. I suppose an insect could have chewed on it before it opened. All of the glories opened late in the afternoon as we had rain clouds most of the day.
Another bloom on the trellis didn't seem to be mistreated at all. The vines, the majority, are now dead.

Peony and Tulips....
The flowers are getting a gentle rain this morning. It makes the soil and sub soil happier as our drought is less these days.

Teddy's legs are a little short for this big wheel but he still likes sitting on it. These shots were buried in my files and this one...

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...

It was chilly, blustery and foggy in Ohio today, too! Stay warm!
That second bloom is gorgeous...a late blue bloom!
Something has redesigned the blossom! Glad it wasn't the state with other flowers. Great captures despite cold! I am having it quiet
