Starlings on Sunday.....
The mother starling was pulling seed out of the suet and dropping it to the ground. Three small starlings with very short tails were waiting for things to fall down to them. She did take suet to one bird and put it in its bird's mouth.
A bonus shot today shows the baby starlings lined up with one young sparrow on the front end of the chair. Another mother was flying between the chair and feeder to get seed for the squawkers. It isn't a perfectly focused shot as no one was holding still for me.

Teddy's legs are a little short for this big wheel but he still likes sitting on it. These shots were buried in my files and this one...

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...

Such sweet photos!
There are two birds in the middle with one starling pushing up against a sparrow. It all blurs but there are two birds there and not one bird with four feet.
Great capture of movement, Larry. I have been trying to catch a Jay at the feeder but distance is too great and the wing movements are too fast for my camera. I also like the next picture, the nail and the tail. Brilliant!
Very sweet of them... liked both the photos and the ways of feeding
That's one determined starling at the suet feeder! And those babies are adorable.
