Naptime........
Our neighbor's cat was taken back to his own house and had been living inside for a few days. Monday he had escaped again and yesterday he was apparently in the tree cooling off. I looked out and saw him there wondering if he was stuck. He wasn't stuck but he did find it to be comfortable to take a nap. When one of his girls see him out and about he will be taken back into this house again. He really does enjoy our side porch and the back yard gardens.

Peony and Tulips....
The flowers are getting a gentle rain this morning. It makes the soil and sub soil happier as our drought is less these days.

Teddy's legs are a little short for this big wheel but he still likes sitting on it. These shots were buried in my files and this one...

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...

He does look nice and cozy there:)I love your header photo with the light and shadows!
Very cute shot and he must be loved being out alike :)
Larry, this is such a beautiful photo! :) Thank you so much for your kind comment on my blog post yesterday, and your wife sounds like a lovely person!
What a great shot of that kitty! haha....he's a cute one!
This is the cutest photo of the cat! I imagine those girls won't allow him to take a cat nap indoors and he prefers the peace and quiet of your property!
John and I laugh each time we pass an old country store near us. The owner of the "quick shop" has a striped cat that hangs out on the front porch of the building. When day workers try to eat their lunch or have a pop on the porch, the cat is begging for a handout!
This is a fabulous picture. The cat looks really comfortable in your tree, it would be a shame to deprive him.
Certainely a good place for a nap.
