The colors change as they start to fade, showing new and sometimes better colors than they had before they first bloomed.

The flowers are getting a gentle rain this morning. It makes the soil and sub soil happier as our drought is less these days.

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...
